Assembly
3D printing streamlines production—but bringing parts together with precision is where the real magic happens. Our assembly services ensure your printed components fit and function seamlessly. Whether it’s simple snap-fits or multi-part mechanisms, our team brings the expertise to turn individual prints into fully assembled, ready-to-use products.
Gluing & Welding
Whether you're assembling oversized models that exceed our printer’s build volume or integrating 3D prints with other components, we offer a range of precise, reliable bonding techniques to bring your vision together.
Bonding Methods We Use:
Epoxy Adhesives – Ideal for high-strength joins, epoxies offer excellent mechanical performance, chemical resistance, and durability. With working times ranging from 20–70 minutes, they allow for careful alignment and robust bonding.
Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) – A quick, convenient option for smaller parts or fast fixes. It cures rapidly and offers strong tensile strength but is best used where heat and chemical resistance aren’t critical.
Solvent Welding – By chemically fusing surfaces, solvent bonding creates a seamless, durable connection. It’s fast, effective, and especially useful for joining compatible thermoplastics.
Additional Techniques – For specific applications, we also offer plastic welding and mechanical fastening for structural or multi-material assemblies.
Sanding & Polishing
Our finishing services enhance the look and feel of your parts without compromising their functionality. We offer a range of techniques to smooth surfaces and improve the overall appearance—whether for prototypes, presentation models, or end-use parts.
Sanding & Surface Prep: We apply filler or primer during sanding to eliminate layer lines and imperfections, achieving a refined finish while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
Polishing: For parts requiring a glossy surface or improved clarity—especially transparent materials—polishing is used to buff the exterior to a smooth, glass-like finish. This technique not only enhances aesthetics but also improves light transmission in clear parts.
Painting
Painting is a powerful finishing step that transforms 3D printed parts into polished, presentation-ready models or fully functional prototypes. Our painting services enhance aesthetics, simulate production finishes, and bring your designs to life.
FDM Parts: We prep and paint FDM prints to meet a wide range of cosmetic requirements—from color matching and branding to matte, satin, or glossy finishes suitable for display or end-use.
SLA Models: Thanks to their smooth, detailed surfaces, SLA prints can be painted or decorated immediately after printing—no sanding or polishing required.
Electroplating
Electroplating adds a professional, high-end finish to your 3D printed parts by coating them in a thin layer of metal. This process enhances appearance, durability, and functionality—combining the design flexibility of 3D printing with the performance of metal.
Improved Strength & Wear Resistance: Electroplating increases surface hardness and makes parts more resistant to wear, impact, and corrosion.
Metallic Finish: Achieve a premium look with real metal finishes such as chrome, nickel, copper, or gold—ideal for decorative pieces, functional prototypes, and consumer-ready products.
Conductive Applications: Electroplated parts can also serve in applications requiring electrical conductivity or EMI shielding.
Support Removal
Support removal is a critical step in post-processing that ensures your parts are clean, functional, and presentation-ready. Our team carefully removes support structures while preserving delicate features and surface integrity.
Precision Handling: Whether your print uses breakaway, soluble, or light-touch supports, we remove them with tools and techniques tailored to the material and geometry.
Surface Preservation: We take extra care to avoid damage during removal, especially on fine details and cosmetic surfaces.
